hey i have been getting a problem each time i have tried acid(sometimes i will keep the headache for a extra day) , the higher amount the harder a headache i have, now i have a history of my family using lsd. for 2 know generations, except for my mom she didn't do lsd until i was born. idk does this happen to any of you?

you do not need to tell me about how it helps cluster headaches, and other forms of headaches, i already knew that, it was LSD, considering the Tab size, The High And Effects. i am just wondering what the fuck is wrong when i get pain after my high is in effect.
I was just saying it seems unlikely. If there were though it might possibly be the toxic metabolite dihydroxyphenylacetaldehyde from the prolonged release of dopamine. Sometimes people who use drugs that release dopamine get these kinds of head aches. I think it depends on the person a bit though. I would try using a good amount of antioxidants and drinking water to see if its either dehydration that you don't feel (because lsd causes your mouth to water) or the creation of free radicals bouncing around. codmouse, have you done enough reading to know the effective does of LSD required to stop a headache? Does tolerance effect the results? It would be cool if you get a migraine to take like a quarter tab or half tab and not actually trip but have the headache go away.
No, I'm not sure. Based on what I know about how it and other migraine meds work I would say 1/8 to 1/4 of a tab is enough to do it for head aches. But I definitely don't know for sure because I have never done research specifically on the topic past basic understanding. tolerance wouldn't effect it much though physiologically. Though, there is thought that part of the pain killing effects are from the way it changes the way your body feels. If only I had bad headaches and had a good amount of acid I know my roommate loves acid for killing pain. His first drug was acid... He is a 380lbs guy though, so he has some pains to kill.
Well, I don't have a headache problem, but next time I have a bad headache, and nothing planned for the rest of the day (I don't know how a 1/4 or 1/8 tab would effect me, as these are apparently 200ug tabs) I will take a bit of LSD. I will post results in this topic when I have said headache (could be a few months, hope nobody minds a bump).

I don't get headaches per ce from LSD but I do feel brain dead the following day occasionally. I'm not surprised in the slightest it can cause headaches as mescaline and 2ci , 2 other hallucinogens have for sure given me headaches. Its like at low doses alcohol is supposedly healthy and often boost ones mood. (spirits) Sure that may be true but get 8 shots of some potent ass liquor and 6 beers and one may very well be vomiting, shaking and violent. drug prohibitionists twist facts and so do drug users, your mind and body is going through alot during an LSD trip.
you could be jaw clenching as there is a nerve in the lower jaw that runs to the temple. That would give you a headache.
