I have to have an MRI tomorrow. Is their anyway they could find out I have been smoking pot? do you think its not a good idea to smoke pot today? I see the docotor tomorrow. so I would think they would do it that day
I don't think so, not unless you tell them. I had to have an MRI a few years ago when I hit my head and I smoked every day, including that day - actually I was still pretty high by the time I got to the hospital lol. They even did a pee test which I'm sure included a drug screening since I got hurt on the job. They apparently didn't care because nothing was ever said to me and I didn't lose my job (I worked for a hippie company though so don't get the impression that it's a regular occurrence, most places you would lose your job if you got hurt on the job and they found drugs in your system). It's not like the doctor is going to call the cops on you if he somehow finds THC in your system lol... but good luck, hope everything comes out OK.
There is no way they can tell unless you tell, I get high before the test just so I can stand being in the machine. You don't say weather it is your head or back. The head is better as you don't go in as far. Tell them that you get claustrophobic and chances are pretty go they'll give you something to calm your nerves. Just be ready for alot of strange noises. I've had like 8 of them in the last 10 years for my brain, no big deal unless you really are claustrophobic. Good luck
How am I lying to the docotors? it would be different if they asked me flat out and I lied and said I don't smoke
