Old Boy is a Korean film by Park Chan Wook about a man named O Daesu who gets locked in a prison cell for 15 years without knowing the reason why. He nearly goes crazy and tries killing himself numerous times. But, suddenly, he is released and has 5 days to find out exactly why he was imprisoned. I recommended this movie to anyone who is a fan of Asian horrors. This film didn't scare me but intrigued me so much. And the ending is one I will never forget and shocked me more than any movie I've ever seen. If anyone else has ever watched this, tell me what you though of it.
I almost watched this when I had my Netflix free trial -- I wasn't aware it was horror though. I thought it was an action thriller =S
I would personally say it's an action/thriller as well but I always find it in the Asian Horror websites. Too bad you never watched it! This one is a good one. America could never make a movie this good.
