The FBI served 40 search warrants for Hacktivists who attacked websites which curtailed services to Wikileaks. Most of the Hacktivists are associated with the shadowy group called Anonymous.

Also, Great Britain announced that they had arrested five people in connection with the attacks, which temporarily crippled the websites of Amazon.com, PaylPal, MasterCard, Visa, the Swiss bank PostFinance and others. Three of the five arrested were teenagers, aged 15, 16 and 19, and that the others were 20 and 26 years old. Dutch police last month arrested two teenagers suspected of involvement in the online campaign.

Funny thing is when Anonymous was here, a lot of them behaved like kids...

But I give them kudos for defending Wikileaks!

Btw, can we stop calling them hackers in these threads? It takes ZERO knowledge of anything computer related to run a DDOS program. Seriously, you just punch in the websites IP address and click run. There are hackers in anonymous but they are the ones altering website code to make peoples' sites say shit about how they've invaded, we are legion, blah blah blah

Anonymous is not a group, and can not be expected to behave in any way. It's just people who are.... anonymous. Some message/image boards let you post as anonymous, and that's where that's from.

Most of them are immature, emotionally damaged 14 year olds. But they come in all types.
