This happened about three years ago when I was a senior in high school. I liked this boy a lot and I was immature at the time. I liked this dude so much that I did anything for him hoping that he would like me more. So my best friend, him, and I went jogging. He was teaching me on how to get real fit. He made me more than just jog. I ran at some point. When I was running for quit a while, I couldn't take it anymore and I stopped. Right when I did I fell over and I couldn't breathe. Like I could not breathe at all. I was suffocating and gasping for air. I was literally trying to say that something is very wrong but couldn't. I was trying to say I can't breathe! Help me! Something is wrong! I just kept gasping for air very violently. I was panicking and crying but I could not cry either. After gasping for air for four minutes I was beginning to recover. While I was recovering, I was wondering if it was an asthma attack. I have never had asthma before so I had no idea but it scared the hell out of me. It hasn't happened since I exercised or did anything. After that, I saw the true side of him and quit liking him. He pushed me too far and knew it. He just kept bragging to his friends that he almost killed me. I'm just curious till this day what happened? Anybody know from the details I just gave?

Sounds like it could have been a panic attack or something. Did you not think to get it checked out by a doc at the time?

ok, finland. i take it you live close to helsinki.
i live in the u.s.a. the first 10 years of my life i lived in duluth, minnesota.
you do know that, duluth and helsinki lay on the same longitude.
the largest group of european emigrants, to settle in and around duluth were and, still are the finns.

the weather in duluth is the same as it is in helsinki.

if your attack happen in the autumn or winter then, most likely it was an asthma attack due to cold weather.
if the attack occured during the spring then, most likely it was an allergy induced asthma attact.
exercise can bring on an asthma attack.
you state, your boyfriend pushed you too hard that will cause an asthma attact and, then he joked about it?
your ex is an asshole... go riddince to that bad news!

i went to the doc yesterday because, i'm having asthma symptoms... sure enough, i have allergy related asthma... oh, such joy; just what i needed!

No, I never did. I told my mom what happened and how bad it was, but I don't think she really understood what happened. She just told me, oh you were out of breath, then I said I don't think not being able to breathe for a long period of time is normal! I don't have the money right now to go get it checked out but when I do, I am. It never happened again but I do have light symptoms when I excerise. I just make sure I don't over do it and take breaks. Nobody in our family has asthma so I think thats the reason she didn't take me seriously but it doesn't matter, anyone can have it. i even told her at times my chest feels tight when I exercise but she was all, oh thats normal. -____- Whatever.
