Hello, everyone! This is my very first post here. I came here because I wanted to meet up with real people. It sure looks like there are many here! (Here in Salt Lake, the real people are few.) I have posted in other forums a few years ago. I went by seeker, and Tanebamos (Tane for short). Although I have no god, I am not without morality, peace and love. Short autobio: I was a paratrooper, but am now a pacifist. I have lived in Germany, California, North Carolina, and Hawaii. I have been a vegetarian since April, 2001. I am quite proud of my cooking prowess. My best creations are Aloo Palak (potato and spinach curry), Potato-Leek Soup, enchiladas, veggie stew, and veggied hash browns. Zodiac? I'm an Aquarian Monkey if one mixes the West and the East. I have read a few posts here already and am so stoked to get to know some of you! One of the topics is "Rainbow Family." I went by the other aliases at other forums. I just discovered this one! I will be sure to visit the Veggie Forum. There is so much here to check out! OMG! I can't believe I left this out of my bio! I forgot to mention that I am a single dad of two awesome girls. My 11 year old will become my 12 year old in 12 days. (Numerical coincidence... interesting...) I also have a beautiful redhead who just had her seventh birthday.

Wow. Cool. Always wanted to jump off a plane but haven't yet because I watched a friend of mine drop from a 'free rotate' on a Huey and it scared the crap outta me. Chopper dropping at x miles an hour, human jumps out, go figure.
When I was in the Army, I always wanted to try a 'chopper blast.' Since a helicopter moves at a slower horizontal speed, the opening shock after the parachute deploys is much gentler. So I've heard.
