It looks like Albania is getting into the revolutionary act too. There has been a week of protests against the government there. Just a week ago, three protesters were shot dead by Albanian security forces. Today tens of thousands of protesters held a silent march to honor the fallen demonstrators. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/anti-government-protest-in-albania/story-fn6s850w-1225996491961 Here's a video of last week's protests where three people were killed. It also explains why the Albanians are demonstrating for their government to resign. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP2LVRTWe_M"]YouTube - Albania protests turn violent
well none of this is a surpise to me. last i heard (which was a couple of years back) albania is the poorest country in europe. people who are hungry and, can't afford to buy basic foodstuffs do rise up in revolution. that is the main reason, we are seeing all these rebellions and revolutions breaking out, in these second and third world nations right now. the world food supply is highly stressed right, now due to the world wide crop failuers last year. those of us in first world nation won't suffer at all from this. we will whine about food prices going up but, none of us will be forced into starvation like these people are.
