Colour?

i want to add colour to my dreads and my hair is a natural dark brown.. i have dyed my hair on many occasions before but never when i've had it dreaded... how much dye do fairly set dreads of shoulder length take?
also i've made some of my own fake dreads but wondering about permanent attachment cause im lazy any ideas?

 

Without pictures it's impossible to say.

Use one or two boxes of dye to be safe or even three.

 

I just dyed mine 2 days ago and one box wasn't enough, 2 should be ok
