You guys... have you ever been to camden? Its bad but you guys are over hyping the shit out of it. I lived with dozens of people who live in camden.
Kids raised in the ghetto environment that raps talk about...it undoubtedly has an effect on them. Obviously it's not going to have much influence on people from the suburbs. A lot of rap glorifies the thug life and that plays a role.
Ghettos, gangs, and thug life were around long before gangster rap became popular. Camden constantly ties with St. Louis as the city with the worst crime rate in the United States. In fact the only reason it's lower is because Camden has a quite a bit less in burglaries and auto theft. It's violent crime is quite higher. Go to city-data.com and give the crime statistics a whirl(actually all the data they have on all towns is pretty cool) St. Louis though is a much larger city that also some very nice areas. Also I think Camden is the only city in the US where stories like this: #1 rule of New Jersey, don't get lost in Newark at night, don't go to Camden period.
Last Friday when I found it the first time second I tuned in I hear "5 males and 3 females assaulting a cab driver for his fares" Second rule of Camden(or any terrible area). Never, ever come to a complete stop.
Some pretty fucked up shit goes down, heard like 3 shooting reports and I've been listening for 5 minutes. Holy shit.
Now I wish I had been listening I did however just vaguely learned the role of ion creation from radiation exposure to the causes of radiation sickness and genetic damage.
right! today i sat next to a homeless dopehead chick under her blanket and gave her a xanax which led an overseeing man to later on the train give me free cocaine... being a young light skinned female - as long as i courteous they are as well but there are the players who love to steal your moneys.... i have not have that done in years but it is scary and happens a lot. the drug supermarket i was talking about in something i posted in here in the last week has doubled if not tripled in size and it is only winter... just like woah
Never implied otherwise. Made a simple point that rappers (music in general) influences peoples life.
