    I don't think it would unless it was luike sand paper or something. Think about go get a rock and a peice of paper the rock will definately rip the paper. I think paper defeats roack for two reasons, it covers it and sufficates it and two the game wouldn't be fair if paper didn't beat something.

    Maybe it's because paper comes from trees, and tree roots can break the hardest rock.
