Hey everybody! In the year I think I may get into Buddhist Chanting, does anyone else here do it? Thinking of setting up an alter and everything. By some equipment. I like the chant Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo, helps you see things hole lot clearer.

fairies would enjoy your hanging with them too...hmm I wonder if there are Buddhist 'fairy' stories? Green Tara chanting involves saying her mantra, for me 7x+ a day. See during the Green Tara Empowerment, which is a Tibetan Buddhist Ritual, if you are Buddhist you promise to do Her whole sadhana every day. If you are not the Lama said to promise to chant say 7 times a day. That's what the Lama suggested and thats what I do. The empowerment ritual is to make the chanting and doing of the sadhana more official, it helps you more and makes you part of Green Tara. The sadhana itself involves; chanting for about 30 minutes or so, mudras or hand gestures, and offerings on an altar.
An empowerment is really cool and worth checking out...
    I love faeries too!

Yeah i'm very into fairies, I do card on them too. And I feel they are here with me too. Wow sounds quite nice ritual have to look it up. My friend used to pray to the sun everyday, to me it was abit not with reality but I guessed it worked for him. Sadly he committed suicide last year in March.

wow, that is really sad about your friend!! Praying to the sun
isn't that odd. It has been worshiped for thousands of years
    as the giver of life.
    hugs and faeries!
    peace

from what ive read the reason they chant is they bite there tongues and the vibrations help soften the pineal gland allowing them to acess it more to get into higher states of consciousness.
