There used to be an Alabama section, but one of your citizens developed an addiction to large amounts of mephedrone which he referred to as 'molly' the common name given to MDMA powder/crystals, which is now being sold in shops as 'bath salts'. A vicious cycle and one that we dare not repeat.

How very welcoming. Let me guess. Y'all are the intellectually superior people from the north?

That depends, how far North is California?

But in all seriousness, the North has higher educational standards than the South generally speaking. That's not to say that Northerner's are "smarter" but only that the schooling is more strict.

Im actually from the west (psst... It says California for my location) I'm not sure many view us as any more or less intellectually superior than alabamians. Usually get pegged as stoned out surfer bros.

If you were aiming that at me then I feel I should tell you that I know that California is in the West. I'm from the North and we have high educational standards. (joke)

We did try that, actually During the civil war..that did not go well. So I guess you are stuck with us...
I started the original message (obviously) before I scrolled down and found that fifty other people had done exactly the same thing. Seriously..AL can be a pretty cool place.

Thank you! And, yes, roll tide (People who have never lived in AL just don't get why, when you meet someone new in AL, one of the first questions is always, "So, are you for Alabama or Auburn?"). I am not currently living in AL and I really miss it. Yours was more the sort of response I was hoping for. Where in AL did you live? I was born in Birmingham and grew up in Gadsden. Ever heard of it?

Hey Tisha. I currently live in Alabama. My husband works up in Gadsden in fact. I think Alabama is a great place to live. I have lived in Vermont and Florida and Alabama has the best parts of both places.

Some of you with the smartass comments should learn some fucking manners. If you're so damn smart you could at least act decent. Why don't you take your face out of the ziplock bag full of your own shit (no, it doesn't smell good) and fall off you're fucking high horse?

Anyway, I live in Alabama and like it here. Roll Tide. And you can stereotype that shit if you want.
