hubbys mom lost a cat to antifreeze, and another tried to jump up on a cabinet and missed, broke its back falling on something. i had a dog who got hit by a car when i was little, i still remember it, the person who hit him actually came up to the house to tell us. he was a golden lab. he caught a rabbit and it scared me, i thought he killed it, but he dropped it and it ran away. pets are awesome, but we usually outlive them, so its a predictably sad moment from the time you bring your pet home. i have a 6 y/o cat and a 6-8 month old kitten. used to only have dogs, my dad hates cats, except my cat. hes cool with my older cat.
I got a collie german shepard mix from the spca when i was 7, i loved that dog, it grew up with me... It died when i was 19, so fucking sad... She her name was lucky would just lay in the garage and not move or eat or drink, just lay there. After 2 days we had her put to sleep, we brought her home and buried her and made a garden that is still at my dad's to this day... i miss that dog
I hope my friends dad dont pass away now.. When my dad died her cat died 2 weeks before.. Now her dad is sick, same age my dad and my moms cat died.. would be a creepy coincidence, but not to much a coincidence at all..

that sucks orison.. i was never too crazy about cats but in the past year or two they kinda have grown on me
it was 19yr old , the only connection my mom had left to my bother.. She had another cat it was destructive, so I pushed it outside. very expensive cat but furniture cost more. Anyhoo.. Cat had been ill for a while. I was surprised it lived as long as it did.. It seems that it waited for my mom to get home from work. She gets home around 1am. I knew the cat was dead when the phone rang. She never bothers me at night only during the day. when I answered it I was tripping good/ not ++++/ but good enough.. She was all upset that the cat was dying. So I ran down the hill real quick. Piece of shit kid I am lol.. And it was on its way out.. eyes wide open,, It was pretty chilling.. I know I was tripping but I could see galaxies in its eyes. She said it suffered a stoke, just went haywire for a minute and just slowed its breathing down, is when I got there. Then it left. So it kinda waited for me to say bye to it too.. Ill miss the little fucker. The only thing I ever said to it though was "hey cat!!"
