These might be regarded as common sense questions...but I'm just making sure... So if you apply for a job and they drug test you and you test positive...the worst that can happen is lack of employment...right? I was busted at school late October of last year. I was fifteen at the time, and they didn't give me a ticket or court date. The school officer said that a juvenile petition would be filed and that we would hear from them soon; however, we have not. I am off the hook for this? Or does it take longer? As of now do I have record? I live in NC if it makes a difference Thanks for reading
Yeah it'll just keep you from getting a job. As for the school thing.....I don't know. You may or may end up hearing from someone eventually, whether it be law enforcement or just school officials. I wouldn't worry about it though. If it happens, then it happens. I think it probably would've happened by now though.
At the moment, the worst that there is, is a note on your school records... that's it, and it won't matter for anything. You only get a criminal record if you have been arrested. Technically, only after you have been convicted, but even arrests that are dismissed, unless ordered by a court to be removed, are put on record.
Thanks for the replies It's been worrying me lately. I'm about 40 minutes away from Asheville, I love it here so much! What about you? I don't know what OBX is...or where it is...haha
Man... I knew that, I really did. Haha I went on a school trip there and the shirt I recieved says OBX.
