is the "shane-look" from the L work sexy?

alright ladies, just one quick question...does anyone think that the look/vibe that shane from the L word gives is sexy??? i think i could pull it off( not trying to sound cocky). i just need some help with this question. and i gotta found out where she gets the clothes, and is that style considered to be the butch aspect of a lesbian relationship? im new to the lesbian world and sometimes the terminology gets me alittle confused. thanks ladies!

 

forget about terminology and whether or not a look is sexy, and wear what you want, what feels comfortable, and just be happy to rock what you like. that's the sexiest shit ever IMO.

but yeah, i think the shane-ish look is sexy... at least i hope so, cause i kinda got it going on a bit i guess, haha. i've got the hair at least. anyways. but yeah... don't worry too much about having the "right" clothes or accessories or whatever, and rock what you dig. no matter what anyone else digs. that's what makes you uniquely you.

why wont your parents let you wear it? Idunno, my mom kinda freaks on me and I dont get to wear what I like either. Just "play the game"; be a good little girl around them :] and yeah, its okay...I like more femme though. Not that shes butch or anything, i just like a bit more :]

 

um well my parents arent very cool at all about me being a les. and i dont believe that they will ever be. but unless the clothes come from the gap, abercrombie, polo, or tommy hilfiger, my mom would rather drop dead then have me where it. its just frowned upon in my family. yea i try to play the game but my parents are really scary when it comes to them figuring things out so even if i put up a good front...they still see striahgt thru it...im working on it but it takes time when u basically live with ninjas. im glad someone knows kinda hwere im coming from, its nice to know im not the only one with parents like this. for a second there is started to think i was.

 

I think what makes shane so sexy is more about her attitude then it is her clothes... yes, she's got a killer sense of style. but i think the fact she's so dark, chilled out, misunderstood, confident, tough & loyal (at least to her friends) etc is what is really sexy about her... don't forget about her swagger!

 

I don't think Shane is very sexy. Women like that are usually a turn off for me.

I think alot of lez girls that see that show kind of idolize shane, she has girls falling at her feet. but like many said, its her attitude, not the way she wears her clothes. My gf hates shane lol, but she still fell for me and i kind of carry myself along those lines. the way you dress should not be designed by those that don't dress themselves anyways. Wear what you are comfortable in. If shane's look is what you want, then go for it. but personalize it so that it becomes "your" look, not hers
