i am a female who happens to love sex. i truly believe i was given the sex drive of a male. when it comes to sex, i definitely think and act like one. i'm 17 years old so yes, i am alot younger than most people on this website. i've been called a "slut", "whore", "easy", etc. all through out highschool and the reason i put these words in quotations is because i don't believe in them at all. what makes it okay for guys to have sex with as many girls as they want but we have to hold back and pretend like we're not that into it? what makes society believe that only pure, virginal women are the good ones? i've had the love of my life break up with me (a year later let me add) because of the fact that i'm not a virgin. after that i promised myself to never tell anyone the truth of how many ppl i've slept with. i don't think i should be ashamed though. sex feels amazing, i love it and i will never deny to anyone that i love it. i want to be able to sleep with anyone that i want to and not get disowned for it. it is NOT okay to call a woman a slut or whore, i want the men out there to know this. so, for guys, what do you consider a "slut"? why do think it's okay to do this? what's the difference between us having sex and you having sex with different people? would you honestly rather be with a virgin, who doesnt knwo what they are doing? and women, do you agree with me? do you think society's view on women's virginities will ever change?
I hold slutty behavior in the same regard no matter the sex of the slut. I think a guy going around fucking anything with a heartbeat is just as disgusting as a girl who does it. It really is more an issue of self image and self respect, at least IMHO.
This. OP seems to forget that human beings have emotions. You cant just go around having casual sex with anyone you want, and expect them not to feel bad when your fucking someone else the next day. 17 is a young age to feel true love for most people, so maybe you just have some growing to do

that's not really the point of my post.. i'm just saying i don't think it's fair that women often feel they have to "virginal" and what not to be good because of what society has made out of it.
i'm confused because i just saw another thread by you talking about how you've never orgasmed during sex and before your current boyfriend you didn't even find sex pleasurable..so why so many partners if you weren't even getting anything out of it? I think you'll find as you get older that the social stigma attached to promiscuous women changes. Guys your age may want virgins but older guys prefer a little experience. I agree with PB 100%, however. Free love may have been cool in the 60s but that was before STDs were so rampant and before AIDS even existed. 1 in 4 americans in the age group 18-36 has herpes, did you know that?
They don't call men sluts, because they're called man-whores. The proper usage would be, slut in the feminine and man-whore in the masculine. But someone has to be a slut or a man-whore. A line is drawn somewhere. If you do what it takes to be one, why fight it, be proud of what you are. If you don't want to be one, don't do what it takes to be one. This isn't rocket science.
Personal definition of Slut: Someone who turned you down. Someone who instead of dating you, is dating your friend. Someone who you no longer wish to date. Having said that, there is a double standard and there will always be one. The party girl is only fun until the party is over.
If you wanna have sex with someone, just do it what gives other people the right to judge what's the right and wrong way to live life. Fuck everybody elses opinion Just protect yourself always...
nice, Heat :2thumbsup: to expand on that, the idea of having lots of "meaningless" sex sounds all well and good, but in my experience, even if you think your partner just wanted some fun too, it usually isn't equally meaningless for both involved. thats where you get hurt feelings and possible mud slinging. i totally agree. i quickly lose respect for those who appear to have little respect for themselves. male or female, if you sleep with just anyone and have no standards or self control, i dont think that's cool. but as far as guys wanting a pure, virginal mate instead of a sperm dumpster goes... my guess is that it's testosterone to blame, just like with every other problem on earth jk it's probably one of those basic survival of the species things. a woman has a direct tie to her offspring becuase she carried and birthed them. a man only has to take her word for it that the child is his. so the male of our species has to be more territorial and keep other males away from his female to maximize the chances of passing on his genetics. and if all else fails, just bang every woman he can find lol males are competetive, but if the woman has so many partners he has to wait in line behind her, she's probably not the best bet. so because he can't compete with all the other guys, he can call her names and slink away to find someone less popular. i realize modern guys in their teens and 20's arent looking for their best chances at procreation with the girls they choose, but that probably still influences the way they feel about permiscuous women. just a theory.
I'm not sure if society's view will change, but if you and your partners are on the same page AND are protecting yourselves, I say go for it. Know yourself and do what you feel is right.

I know plenty of older women who had sex with many people when they were young. They all seem happy and they have fond memories of their younger years. So don't worry about it, but do protect yourself by using condoms, getting tested regularly for STDs, and having a "safe sex" conversation with your partners before fucking them. If you're not looking for an exclusive relationship, be clear about that so you don't break hearts. Be safe, be responsible, be loving, be sexual, be juicy, be orgasmic, be promiscuous. And as for those who would call you names, who are they to judge you? Fuck 'em.
