Hi, I'll be visiting Houston for 2 weeks in August. I would love to know where there are any cool bars to meet hip people, or meet some hip people and go to a bar, shoot some pool, see some music etc. I will be traveling with my 13 month old son and partner so will only have limited nights out on the town. My Mum lives in Houston(Hunters Creek area?) and I get over usually once a year or so.

 

Although iv never been, but I hear good things about Last Concert Cafe.

Sup ppl just saying hello, I live in NW Houston so I know it can get kinda crazy out here. Is it just me or is there entirely to many cops and paranoid ppl in this particular area?

 

Depends on what part you call NW. I'm way north in Spring and there are cops out the ass here. They profile and coerce too...

Last Concert Cafe is nice...go down to the end of Nance St, and there is Ray's Franks.....gr8 place with gr8 staff and gr8 food!:2thumbsup:
