I am an 18 y/o female in search of a place to live in exchange for work. I can cook, clean, knit, crochet, type 40 wpm, and provide child care. I am not the 9-5 type, and feel I belong with people of like mindedness. I am from Fresno, CA, but I am willing to move anywhere in the world if need be. I will work as much as needed until the job is done. Please reply asap. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Most people who could offer you what you are looking for, will be leery about someone who has no other posts here.

Beyond that, until you are a member (100 posts I think), you can't send or receive pm's which makes it even harder seems sending emails to random email addresses people post is a good way to get spammed to hell...

Read through the threads, find things that interest you and post... People will get to know who you are (or at least seem to be) and you will likely find more people offering you what you want.

I dont know if this is what I need right now. 9-5 isn't for me. right now, I am making just enough to live comfortably in a tiny apt. I just feel I should live with people of like mindedness, and like to care for the environment.

so you should go up to the rainbow gathering in WA lots of people who may beable to offer you something. also try posting around on craigslist.

with time and energy you can have anything you want: even if what you want is nothing.

first thing you should do: get a big backpack. enough for you to have everything you need right on your back,

    next:

    Stop buying unnecessary things.
Toss half your stuff, learn contentedness.
    Reduce half again.
List 4 essential things in your life,
    stop doing non-essential things.
Do these essentials first each day,
clear distractions focus on each moment.
Let go of attachment to doing, having more.

    Fall in love with less.

Thanks floes. I have put backpacking forever into the list of things I could do.
