Haitian dictator "baby doc" Duvalier, responsible for the murder and torture of thousands, was arrested today in his luxury hotel in haiti while making a visit after 25 years of exile in france. It was not clear why Duvalier returned to Haiti at this time. He said he was not going to get back into politics, but had returned to help Haiti recover from the earthquake that devastated the country.

i hope he lives to be 120 and gets raped every day in the haitian penal system.

He smelled aid money. Why else would he come back. He and his father already proved what kind of "humans" they were/are. There had to have been some kind of agreement between that shit-heel and some in Haiti who wished he could resume power.

I wonder what he was thinking when going to Haiti seemed like a good idea. I mean really who goes to the place they're most likely to be arrested in.

Perhaps it was a plot to get him to return so he could be tried? Nice bait and switch!

I'm sure there is more to this story that we know and probably ever will know.

So if he does "actually" go to prison. I hope it's someone from Haiti that takes his manhood but an actual frenchman. It would be nice to think that the country that protected him, fucked him.

I think he was probably prompted to return by someone in the military! He would be a good henchman figure to follow and would instil the fear of death into his innocent countrymen! Voodoo casts a very big shadow over the lives of the ordinary people over there, and I don't think it would be too far of a stretch of the imagination, for people in that culture to believe that he is a reincarnation... A Zombie, come to wreak havoc on their lives again! It's all to do with terror!

I just heard on the TV news (gasp!) that Duvalier has been released and told he can run for president of Haiti! Evidently the 25 years that passed since this criminal was in charge is past the date they could prosecute him under Haiti's statute of limitations.

  10. I wasn't aware that he had been arrested! According to Jean-Max Bellerieve the Prime Minister "he is a Haitian, as such, is free to return home".
