They have helicopters going around residential neigborhoods and scanning for "suspicious heat sources." How can anyone claim they live in a free nation when you can get your home raider for a "suspicious hot spot."

You know why caniibis is so illegal? Compare it to cigarettes. What is the benefit of cigs? It doesn't even taste good. But there's a huge market for it. On top of that, the market is cornered.
Pot, taste good, smells good, and actually has positive health benefits.

Cigarettes have a limited region in which it can grow.
Cannibis will grow just about anywhere.

His lifestyle isn't why he was beaten, he was beaten because he refused to stop, was highly intoxicated and refused to comply with the officers and became combative. THAT is why he got a beat-down. The problem was that it became excessive considering the numbers of cops involved.
His lifestyle isn't why he got beaten, but it is what led up to it, and his many, many subsequent arrests.
I just get annoyed when people want to use him as some poster child against police brutality, Why? he was and is a reprobate criminal, and not a very good one at that.

I'm sure there are plenty of other people who got a beat-down from police that didn't ask for it by their behavior.

They use heat signatures, water and electric usage as excuses to search suspected grow houses.
