Bradford cannabis raid finds guinea pig heater

Last week police in Bradford (Northern England) raided a house after their helicopter noticed a suspicious "hot spot" on the roof of the garage.

Home owner Mrs.Hardcastle, who works at a primary school, got a call at work from her mother who told her she had better come home right away.

Here's her words about what happened next;

After discovering the heater the police not only apologized, but they discussed damages and assured Hardcastle that her details would not be kept on record.

Totally different experience than most US police raids I've read about. Particularly the part where the police waited for her to get home before entering the garage.

 

Right so it's OK to keep animals locked up in your loft, but not to grow plants...

Most of them are alright, it's the 10% that aren't that you need to look out for, like anywhere.

When I went to India I was shit scared of them from all the stories I had heard. My first experience of them was when I arrived in Mumbai and was approached by a 4 and a half foot cop in a uniform who just wanted to talk to me because I was british, he introduced himself as "Gulab", which is apparently Hindi for "Rose".

Other times I saw them they were not so gracious, and I'm glad that I wasn't on the receiving end of their investigations those times is all I can say.

 

This is true. Very different mentality. In one country you're a citizen, in the other you've done something wrong, they just haven't busted you for it yet.

Im trying to figure out how they concluded that there was a "hot spot" As we all know they can see people from the air with heat sensitive equiptment but why were they using that on her place to begin with..and even at that it shouldnt be considered proof of illegal activity.

 

They fly around in helicopters, and any house that has such equipment in their loft or garage stands out a mile. Then they come round at 5 in the morning and bash your door in.

I think the meme of the european cultural experience (carried from one generation to the next) is a much stronger cultural memory of what the central bankers do, so the c.b.'s tend to take a lower profile on europe, and to a much lesser-extent with their proclivities, england.


Many of the american cops who have been especially brutal just got back from an all-expenses-paid trip to a certain banker-funded middle-eastern special-interest zone, to experience how the 'lesser brethren' grunts deal with the much-lesser-brethren - the palestinian natives, under the guise of 'anti-terrorism training'. American police learn how to terrorise people better, and the action permanently flips the lid of many of those USA-corp cops. There are some exchanges with england - those are fewer per head, so those cops aren't as crazy: yet.

 

If this was in the united states the police would have busted in, broken a ton of stuff in the house, shot all the pets then find some ridiculous thing to charge her with after they noticed nothing was in the house.

One time I did absolutely nothing at all but be sitting somewhere looking weird and cops tested my cigs for pcp and some benadryl I had for meth. They did the test right in front of me and it didn't react at all and then they tried to say they were right about there being meth in it. I told them they better step the fuck back if they'd like to keep their jobs. yeah, us cops SUCK

Yeah, and they make documentaries about it and broadcast them on television to show the good work that the police are doing busting all these nasty cannabis growers.

The cold climate and dense population of the UK makes it easy for them to find people this way, which sucks immensely.

One guy got caught last year because the snow on his roof melted, but none of his neighbours did...

I smoked some Guinea pig turds once , been feeding it cannabis scraps for weeks... it was some pretty good dung, smoked, burned just like hash, same color and consistency, everything.. didnt get you high really, I was a youngin at the time.. dont know what inspired me to do it, only that I had guinea pig and was growing weed...

No doubt. I was "pulled over" by a US pig for driving intoxicated. Didn't work.
First, he didn't pull me over, he pulled up behind my truck as I was approaching it after walking around town for a few hours.
Second, he demanded I take the PBT (portable breatalizer test) because I told him I couldn't do the "step-test" because of my physical disability.
I told him "sure, then when I blow triple zeros I get to shove this PBT thing up your ass, too!" He got back in his car and drove off.
Cops give you the abuse you are willing to take. And sometimes you have to go to the extremes of filing lawsuits to get them to back off.
