I know you asked him, specifically.

But I assume he cares because standing by and watching wrong is nearly as wrong.

And I care because there will be nothing for anyone to eat when monsanto has it's way and all common food species are mixed with their shit so you can't grow without them...

i actually don't think that's ever going to happen

[they call me a cock-eyed optimist]

i plant seeds , which is pretty much optimystical . on the farm we have one field that is isolated and this coming spring it will be planted to a corn variety called Seneca Red Stalker . it's a native american flour corn and wonderfully delicious nutritious .

we bought the seed from an heirloom seed bank and are confident we can save seed for the future . not only is the nearest gmo corn a mile away , the Seneca will pollinate at a different time .

this lonesome 10acre plot will produce 4 tons of grain . ya 'll hungry or grumpy ?

ya , you've all heard the news . the kings of the world trade game have been monsters . who can stand against the Beast ... ?

Lol...you obviously do 0 reseach on the internet.

Lol...Yes, I forgot Google et al have a filter that prevents all anti-GM information from being displayed.
    Sorry, I forgot about that.

I know. I do. Do you?
Actually try typing things into search engines before you start typing things here. It helps.

    Blah blah Blah.
More crap that you have not bothered to do any real research about.
I guess you are a troll

They don't disable other seeds or expire after a year.
Monsanto won't let farmers save or sell the seeds for future use.

    The seeds are not sterile.

    That's true.

Are you pretending to be a good example of a bad example or what?
Because if you are, you're doing a good job at it. Showing everyone exactly what a "sheep" acts like.

Because myself and many others are fighting, by defacto, for people like you. And you people like you couldn't give a fucking shit less.

    With comments like,
    "so what? let eat ogm."
    "Who cares"

It's all just fucking poetry in motion from the sheep species. Ie. "who the fuck cares"

There is an old saying, "For evil to win. All that is required is for good men to do nothing." Amazingly all you have to do is change the word "good" to "sheep" and you have the problem we face today. Therefore, our enemy probably not the politicians and companies like mansanto but the fucking sheep!

Perhaps we should not be throwing bricks through the windows of politicians and start throwing them through the windows of sheep.

Oh gosh golly gee whizzz. Don't I look foolish

There is a .UK extension on that google search. It just goes to show that the big american search engine is looking after the UK. Nevermind all those ant-trust law suits going on in Europe against google for the "page rank" fixing.

And I also noted that there is a nice filtered down version of the information posted. But I guess that is a good thing! Because just like filtering water and other stuff, it gets rid of 80% of the toxicity and makes it much easier to swallow.

    Oh Yongers.
Look at me. I'm an old fashioned dumb fart that actually still has a library card. I guess I'm so not cool like the rest of you. But in my defense I actually learned to read and write from teachers that didn't have sex with their students. I've also never completly understood how to cheat my way through life by using Youtube clips.

I can just see where the "facebook generation" is going. In 15 years some doctor is going to be doing open hart surgery on a patient. The conversation in the operating room is probably going to be something like this.

Doctor : Nurse, I've stiched the aorta to the right aorta. Can you google what I should do next?

Nurse: Yes doctor. Hey look! There is a how to clip on youtube posted by "come get me"

Doctor: Great! And look if we join the channel we can go to the user's facbook party when this is done.

Nurse: And if that avatar is the poster of the clip. She's hawt! Do you think she might be bi?

Doctor: Who cares? Let's sew this guy up and go and party!

Looks great if you're the doctor and nurse.
But it really sucks if your the patient on the table.

Why do you not try it yourself. Type in what I did into your version of Google and see what appears. Heck, try another search engine.
The point was, there is a plethora of anti-GM information on the internet.
Try your own search criteria. It was just a random search request using the most basic of words regarding this issue. I wasn't suggesting it would contain everything you have said here.

Given your earlier comments that seemed to be based on no real research I thought your last comments were going to be pretty flimsy too.
You seem like the type of person who berates people that use Facebook, and Facebook users...and has never used the site themselves.
All based on what you think rather than any facts.

    Blah blah blah

Are you really that arrogant to think that I've never done a Google search on OGM or is it just a question of you having your head up your ass?

    Let's examine the facts.

    1) The United States goverment is supporting OGM.
    2) The modern media is more or less kissing government and big business ass. Just like Fox News publishing something about a democrat's stand-point. Their inclusion of the "contrasting opinion" is heavily controled.
    3) Google's page rank system favors the big sites. Which all influenced heavly on american media.

So even if Google was this benevolant search engine that is only trying to be the Mother Teresa of the Internet. All you're going to get is the "canned" american propoganda version.

BUT GOOGLE IS NOT MOTHER TERESA OF THE NET!!!

Google is a for profit business that shows loyalty to it's clients. The United States government, the medias, etc. So what "little" anti-OGM commentary you're finding is nothing compared to the big picture. (I know because I've read them.)

The fact remains that the lone academic blogger that has spent hundreds of hours in university librarys and digging through goverment files and other research does NOT show up on a google search until you hit page 500. So no one is reading him.

Google is just another example of the United States controling the information flow. And this time not just for the United States and the anglophone world, but for other many nationalities. It's still just all about american commercial domination. Any information you find using it is going to be "minor". Even Google took CIA money when they were first starting out and I highly doubt that they stopped selling our user information to them since then.

Learn this and learn it well.

Real research has not changed in decades. It's long and boring and it's still done in an old university library or entails sifting through government documents. In the end, the print medium (on paper) still and always will dominate in research and truth.

    So I'll tell you what.
You go do you're little google-ing and keep pretending you actually learned something. Wheras I'm going to keep shocking and pissing people off and stuffing dead fish under the hoods of police cars in my neighborhood community. One way or another, I'm fighting the fight.

There is a big distance between bombs and bricks. Should never be the first option in a stand against injustice.

    As for the dead fish.
In my community there is a lawn care/outdoor maintenance company that has been dumping their gone-bad chemicals in a local stream. (A stream many of people fish in.) They were filmed by locals doing this and subsequently, charges were layed by the police.

But they're still doing it. Nothing has changed.

That's because as far as the police are concerned. They were charged and now this is an issue for the judicial system to resolve. So they get to keep dumping their shit in the stream while they wait for the day in court.

    Following that logic.

I can go out and throw a brick through their window. Get arrested and as I wait for my day in court, I have the right to through a brick through their window as often as I want. Fuck I would like to see them apply that logic to a serial killer or a rapist. It's always someone with money or a company that gets away with fuck like that.

    Oh well,
The dead fish and their stink are our response to the problem. All the cops have to do is keep arresting the assholes each time they dump the shit in the stream and we'll stop hiding dead fish in areas that will produce the most smell and inconvienance.

I bet you're hoping they produce OGM pot. I guess the natural stuff just stopped working for you.

You are living it. The only difference is instead of being in your face about everything. They tricked the public into willingly and happily surrendering control. Like it or not, Big Brother is watching you, has been for a while and he is finding more ways to get you to let him watch you more.

As an old German once said to me.
Before Hitler the economy was really bad. But after him, we got to take vacations and buy lots of new things.

Shit, his comments really put a different face on facism.

love-laughter, I appreciate the more boring detailed research is "buried"...but it isn't anything to do with Google or their preference to "big business" and "the media"...it has to do with it being BORING.
If you were to type in a specific name or the title of a specific study...guess what? Google would bring that from the 500th page to the first page.
So don't blame "big business" or "the media" and definitly not Google (or any other search engine)...blame the lazy "Googler" who just continually types: "Will GM kill me and my family?" or "Monsanto is the devil isn't it?"
Type in "Monsanto"... are the first 500 pages telling us how wonderful the company is? Er, NO.
    http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&xhr=...&aqi=&aql=&oq=monsa&pbx=1&fp=8fe4bc1dc511388d
(Please, you try it too if you think a different result will appear)
Yes, I appreciate the page ranking system...but lets do a little experiment...
Please give a name of a specific blog, study or research material that you think is worth reading and lets see where it shows up in an internet search.
You'll find it will suddenly leaps from the 500th page to page 1.

    E.g
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...ly+modified+food+blog&aq=f&aqi=g1g-v1&aql=&oq=

Not good enough for you? Well please give me some key words to type in and let me do this little experiment of mine...
It's all about what you type into Google et al...but you should know that, right?

There simply are not enough people out there that want to read reasonable detailed and boring research, sadly.
They would much prefer to read the polemical nonsense that even you spout on a regular basis.
That's why shit rises to the top.

Btw, If you are still clinging to research that is years old then I feel sorry for you.

It doesn't seem like it. Or you are piss poor at it.

So all this (and the rest of your post) seems like your own prejudices and not really based on actual fact.
