is oxycodone and oxycontin the same thing?

    is oxycodone and oxycontin the same thing? impretty sure they are just double checking. thanks.

    oxycodone is the drug in oxycontin but its also in percocet and I'm sure a few other meds. Oxycontin has a higher amount of oxycodone and some of the other medicines like percocet are a mix of oxycontin and other drugs. Percocet is a mix of oxycodone and tylenol.
