I usually try to make the face that's next to the numbers, you know the real sad looking hurt face... :rofl: If you can balance on a skateboard you can snowboard. The hardest part is remembering to stay on an edge, either heel or toe, you never want the board to be perfectly flat when you first start. Also toe edge turns were really hard for me, it just feel so unnatural to lean forward like that, i always ended up not leaning enough and my heel end edge would catch, worst way to fall = backwards. That sucked.
I stopped last year, but had been skating for a few years. My only injuries were 3 sprained ankles all together... OH and the board hit me between the legs a couple times.
they probably refused me higher because i refused the shot of cortison... i was like "i want you to fix me.. not fuck my shit up"
I spent the last few years ski-touring heavily, and I've seen that attitude of pushing things as far as they'll go fuck more than one person's shit up.
