A while ago this cat got out. and he was gone for like 3 weeks. Figured he was dead.

Well then he came back and ever since then he's been waaaay too needy of affection (gets annoying) and he wont shut the fuck up. Just FUCKIN MEEEEOOOOOW all the god damn time. I think he wants to get back out, but he doesn't have any shots and is stupid so I can't let him out.

But how can i make him shut up? This is too annoying first thing in the morning when I'm tring to get ready for work.

good luck to you sammy boy, trying to get a cat to stop doing all that crying!

i have lived with that with one of "my" 4 cats for 14 years! :willy_nilly:

are we humans really all that stupid to belive we really can ever own a cat?
FUCK NO! cats are smarter then most of us humans. they got us under their thumbs; eh, i mean dew claw, or whatever.

first off; you keep refering to the cat as him. i take it then, he is a tom (male) and not a queen (female.)
that will rule out that kitty is either in heat or pregnant.

now if kitty is a tom, and he was gone for 3 weeks. he was living the life of an alley cat, and was fucking any and every queen he came across. if that is the case, he might be screaming at you, "hey, you big motherfucking ape! let me out already... i want to get fucked!!!

i think what is most likely going down with kitty is, he was gone for 3 weeks and he is just so overjoyed to be back home with you.
sounds like a case of seperation anxiety to me.
both cats and dogs are eternal childern. THEY NEVER GROW UP!
the poor cat is just so happy to be back home with you.

like i said above; i have lived with this same thing for 14 years, with one of "my" cats.
i still bitch and whine at times because, she never shuts the fuck up!
yet i have more or less learned to live with her anxiety condition.

the ball is in your court on this one.

My Guess Is He Most Likely Got Boots, Bricks, Shotguns, Abuse, And Anything Else

You Can Name Thrown At Him During His Excellent Adventure...:(.

He Now Appreciates You, What You Do For Him, And The Security Of Your Home ...:).

I Live With Six Cats, And Iv'e Seen This Hundreds Of Times.

Just Shower Him With Love, And He's Bound To Settle Down...:).

    Cheers Glen.

Eh. My buddy Nacho is a tom, and before he was neutered we had the meowing problem. There is no way to stop the problem but to get him fixed.

At first, I thought that getting a pet neutered was cruel. But Nacho ended up getting really sick and we found out that he has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which is basically kitty-aids. That was the moment when I realized that keeping a male cat without getting him neutered is NOT worth the pain and suffering that a cat with FIV can go through.

PS. - FIV is not a sexually transmitted disease, though. Nacho contracted it through fighting with other males over territory and hoes.

I'd suggest you neuter him. There are probably programs in your area (if you're in the US) that will pay the fee. I went through S.N.I.P.P, and the procedure only cost me $15.

probly either wants to get fucked, or go out to do other dangerous things and get its ass kicked by larger toms, or else is just happy to be back and wants attention. All of these, or a combination, can happen when indoor cats get out.

just show it some attention and it should settle down. If not, fixing it may help, which should proabably be done anyway, especially if it goes out, to keep from making a bunch of kittens that will be homeless, loveless, and ultimatly lifeless.

I wish people would get rid of / put down pets that they can't take care of.

At least you're halfway there. :p

I take care of my cats just fine. And they're not even mine. You're probably the type that likes to put birds in cages.

No thanks, not a big fan of birds. Though the metaphor was not lost on me.

Since you're not the owner, you're not to blame and that certainly relieves me. The real owners need to step up though. Three week absences and being outdoors without shots are sure signs of top-notch care.

Exactly. Whoever the cat's owners actually are, they don't sound very responsible to me.

The cats seem a lot more worldly these days.
