Stores that ask you to donate a dollar for charity when your buying something. Or when they ask if you would like to purchase scratch tickets with your gas. Or when they ask if you want fries with that. Who else finds this annoying?
I hate it because I feel guilty because Im like NO I gave last week give me my dollar I need to go by crack... just kidding about the crack but no thats my dollar those dollars add up... if its pennies I part with them I know Im a greedy nitch
No, not really. Those people are just doing thier jobs. If you were the owner of that gas station or fast food joint you would want your employees to use suggestive selling as well. It actually generates a lot of extra sales and profit. Isn't that the point of running a retail business, or any business?????
i've always wondered which charities are legit? because my dad said some of those keep the money or don't use it how they said that they would use it
In the UK charities have a reg. No. and you can find out their financial position and where their money went. The better ones even have their financial records on their site. http://www.nspccannualreview.org.uk/pdfs/NSPCC_Annual_Report_2010.pdf I'm sure this is the same in the US.
