tonight i found out im on academic probation starting next semester. three reasons why this is retarded: -3 out of the 6 classes i've taken were pass/no pass, which means it doesnt affect my GPA (and the class has to be P/NP, it wasnt my choosing). Those were the three classes i would have gotten A's in. they were the ones i did best in. the 3 classes i did get grades in i got a B, D, and F. the F one was a horrendous teacher and it was my fault for not choosing P/NP or withdrawing in time. -they only check gpa's and give academic probations at the end of spring and fall semesters (i'm now taking 12 units for winter semester, and i'm very well determined to do great. i'm actually very certain i'll impress friends and family with my grades). this probation thing came perfectly at a bad time, just qualifying the 12 unit permission milestone to give academic probations. -for the process of being readmitted, i must go through policy reminders online then choose a major so that when i print out this stupid "ticket" or application and give it to the counselor, they'll create a plan for me. problem is, i'm not going to choose a major until i know what i want to do, and what i want to do right now in life is take multiple courses in which to find something of interest. I'm paying them money for classes just like anyone that has no degree intention, so why can't they just leave me the fuck alone? this'll just blow over easily but i'm just pissed atm
Its ok I failed my first class this semester simply for the fact I refused to go after he made a shitty comment.. long story short my gpa dropped minorly I was a 4.0 Ill just retake the class with a different prof
