people tend to put life into either a circle or line. Life comes in cycles, or it is a journey, enjoy the trip. Those are both really accurate descriptions, its brilliant how many people get different insights from philosophising about life. What is the meaning? I dig the idea of living as a blank canvas. Its zen..Metaphorically you live as life comes, let it flow, and realistically. Being the artist is an experience all in itself. You paint the picture, paint it colourful..
That was a lovely post Caitlin, dear. I'm not sure if this is what you meant (it very well might be way off) but I like to think that I live my Life in a brilliant circle. A very wonderful Native American leader, Black Elk, once said that "The power of the World exists in circles." I do however, adore what you said about your Life being a blank canvas which you would paint colorfully. I find that Beautiful. holden, xylophone
I think she meant it to take however you felt, and to live life however you feel. I as well like the blank canvas statement, and I also dig what she said about philosophising about the meaning of life, and I think if we let it..this could be a very interesting thread. My way, I tend to try not to dwell on things, it's so mundane but I like to think that "everything happens for a reason" no matter how big or small, trivial or important, and, I think if we center ourselves, find a place deep within where we can be still and serene, than everything will come to pass. I think if we are able to take everything with peace, and just remember that everything will lead you to where you need to be...everything will fall perfectly into place..
Life comes and goes. There's no end.. you never die... it keeps on going, but then again, life isn't a proven theory and life is only what you make of it all. If you don't spend life living, you won't have one. Life, Memories, Love, Friendship, Family... - all that matters. The Earth give you life, so why not live?
I always love how people respond.. This was something I wrote in the summer, that I found, and revived all anew in me again
