What Sounds Better?

Herb crusted salmon with:

a) Basil citrus cream sauce

b) Sweet carrot and ginger buerre blanc

I love basil but it would overpower the salmon more than the ginger would.

 

The basil and ginger are both really subtle and do not over power, just lightly compliment.

 

I think I would still go with ginger unless the salmon was served cold. Then I would go with basil.

 

gotta be B but whys it gotta be a cream sauce why not just a basil citrus vinigrette or something?

 

i prefer citrus flavors

 

basil citrus cream sauce literally "sounds" better to my ears, but i have no idea what the implications of cooking with either would be.
