Long story short, I disappeared off here, without saying anything, because of a pretty abusive relationship I was in, she stopped me going on every forum, even a classic VW forum, and stopped me seeing friends & loved ones.

After ending the relationship in March, on the first day of our holiday coincedentally... I was on the ole' tablets to deal with my depression, but all great now, I have a beautiful girlfriend, who i've just got back from Ireland with for New years, and I thought I would come and say Hi to everyone!

FYI - The bleach blond bitch in the video is the whore.

My dreads are sat in a bag next to me, and I miss them a lot, I enjoy having my hair short and manageable, although i'm really missing dreads at the moment, you all know i'm still natty at heart!

I use pomade, my hair curls slightly anyway so, the quiff is just a 'styled curl' more than spiked up..

This is the thing, I am really missing my dreads, i've become so used to people treating me nicely, or giving me a chance with jobs etc, that i'm not sure I have the heart, not only that, but i'd have to grow my hair till it's pretty long, and I find it infuriating to have my hair growing over my ears.

I never heard the word quiff before, reminds me of queef. I call that style a pompadour. Nice look for you

You rock the quiff quite nicely though. How much do you miss your last set of dreads on a scale of 1-10? Judge from there, perhaps?

Also, it's just hair. If you start dreading again and regret it, just comb it out. Or cut. Whatevs. It'll grow back.

Oh, and don't let people suck too much. In general humanity is just kind of shitty. Part of having dreads, at least for me, is learning to let go of how much I care about other people's opinions. NO ONE wanted me to get dreads, so I said screw it. I'm doing it anyway. The people who matter will learn to tolerate it eventually, and if people really can't look past your hair, then they probably aren't worth your time.

None of the above applies if you're seriously job hunting though. Watch out for those evil conformity loving bastards! Many bars/restaurants are pretty chill with dreads, FYI.

Oh, and the hair over the ears thing: bandannas, headbands and hats are probably your future best friend if you decide to grow it out for dreads. See? Easy solutions.

Yeah, I had no problem letting go before with worrying, if I did it, I doubt i'd go for backcombing again, too harsh on the hair!

Don't worry about backcombing or any of that, just leave it alone and go natural.

But I'll have to agree with the others regarding the car and the girl and the hair

 

Alex, <333 so good to hear from you. I haven't been on in a while either so it's nice to see some of the oldies coming back yeah...,sounds like u had a pretty insane time with the ex. how did she manage all that?

She just was a horrible person, made me feel inadequate, out of order, guilty about seeing people, she just ground me down, but all is A ok now

Me & the moll were in Dublin! Stayed in Hotel Isaac, right by Busaras(sp?), above the river.
Then went to a gig at Vicar Street for New years (Turning Pirate New Years Eve Party).
