Imma napster this just to irk Lars Ulrich, even though I already have all the good songs. What a shit track selection as well. OOOooooooooh track one is called One, they must have really had to think hard about that one. EeT fUk biyches
I think it's extremely lame of them to refuse to put their stuff on Spotify and making such a big deal out of napster, etc, when their rise to fame woulda been impossible if people didn't share their music to spread the word all those years ago. Saying that, their music is A grade. I even like Load, Reload, St anger and Death Magnetic, though everyone else seems to hate those albums.
When I first posted this I thought it was only 2 cd's... but FOUR! How many albums have they had out? Come to think of it how many "hits" have they had? I can think of aherm.... "One", their one and only hit single when people started to take notice of them and even girls at my school were saying that they didn't really like them at all but they really liked this song. Now schoolgirls all across the world are massive fans! How the hell did that happen? And why did this not happen when I was a spotty teenager showing off my new eye of the beholder t-shirt, which I've still got BTW
Enter Sandman was their biggest hit that I remember. Fuel Nothing Else Matters The Unforgiven Hero for a day. all got solid airplay They have 9 studio albums than 1 live one with the orchestra I belive, They also have some songs from their covers album on there. 4 albums may be a bit excessive but alot of their songs are over 6 minutes and I think they want to believe that they made some quality music past 91. Its funny alot of their post Black album music is actually decent compared to most bands but it just doesn't compare to the early stuff.
Sad, but true... They did improve slightly after that episode, but to be honest it would have been difficult to get any worse than that.
Wait, did they actually make one? I'll lose even more respect for them... Still, I'll never lose my respect for Alcoholica, no one can ruin that shit for me.
welcome home was the one that sucked me in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WElvEZj0Ltw"]YouTube - Metallica- Welcome home (Sanitarium) music video
Master of Puppets was the album that got me into them, when Cliff Burton was still the bassist! (and alive... )
Just get black album. And don't buy it, steal it. They're utter fuckheads. Their upstart album was good because of how they had to behave and play, being upstarts. Then they and their music became pretentious and silly.
I like Ride the lightning as well. I think I prefer Garage inc. above the black album and every other album after it
i liked st. anger. drums were good. most of their pussy stuff got solid airplay. i found that it sorta grew on me. like old, crappy eighties pop songs that are okay simply because you know the words.
