Having read skips article.... fucking terrafying. Knew it was coming, but I thought we had a few more years. Any cops idea of suspicious activity? If you don't consent to a search, it's obviously because you have something to hide, so you're probably a terrorist and will probably end up in the FBI's database. I'm sure I'm already there.
Actually, (this is gonna sound like I´m just making shit up, but it´s true.) I was actually friends (sort of) with the head of the Israli version of the secret service. He spoke fluent Arabic, and told me about how he has gone undercover into Arab countries. (this was obviously quite a while ago, but he didn´t say when) They have technology to have dust (with some kind of residue) placed on your arm, and then he would brush up against someone, (someone specific) and the residue in the dust could be tracked from a satalite. They would know exactly where the person was, and then take a helecopter so high people could hardly see or hear it, and snipe the person in their home. apparently they´ve taken out whole ´terrorist´ groups of up to 7 people at a time this way. I don´t know that they moniter their own citizens.. but I wouldnt be supprised.
I've heard something like that. It doesn't sound beyond the realms of possibility. Infact it seems a tad "old school". I'll do some research on it. I was really talking about some of the things discussed in this thread, and the notion Britain is "well acquainted with such domestic security measures." I don't/didn't really want to get into the whole Israel issue, tbh (it gets a little too heated). I should have wiped Israel from the face of...my post
NPPD (Freakin' spy dust!) Posted on: April 9, 2009 9:00 AM, by Molecule of the Day aldehyde That aldehyde, NPPD, caused a kerfuffle in the 80's. There was outrage that Americans were being "tagged," and speculation as to whether it might be dangerous. Some analytical chemists leaned back, scratched their beards, and said "sounds kind of neat." And even recently, the compound was re-examined.
haha... ok. and you´re right, pretty sure this wasn´t recent. And this is what he told a random civilian about, obviously it´s not really considered a secret. Even ignoring Israel, I highly doubt that Britan is any farther behind in technology than Israel.
I guess not. But they would both have to be ahead of the US which seems unlikely. Further ahead in using such means rather than having the tech' to do it. If that makes sense.
A friend of mine's seven year old kid was surfing youtube and accidently came up with a video explaining how to make explosives. A few days later he gets an email asking him if he would consider working for the FBI. Probably just a scam, but it got through the spam filter, made him wonder...
