Barefoot Sandals

  1. Sonofagun! They appear to work! "Road-testing" my first pair, and (based on a few stores where from experience I know they WANT shoes), no problems. Bare soles on cold ground works for me; "shod feet" (hehehe) works for them!

For years we have become accustomed to flip-flops being minimal footware. You are going to find that minimal "footware" is the barefoot sandal. Flip-flops satisfied everybody except for the barefooter at heart. BF Sandals take it to a new court to play on.

For Brits here, is there anywhere decent in UK selling them ?

  7. I got mine from people who knit them in woolen straps---nicely plain, basic black and brown, and very nicely inexpensive. Contact me off-line for more info.

Looks as though you are wearing flip flops. Those just might work.

  10. Further testing through downtown, the train station, and "over the fields and through the woods" (SNOW!!!!) to home. These are GREAT!!!

  11. I'm very impressed with the "success rate" I've been having, particularly in places (a couple local stores and part of a chain---Whole Foods) that heretofore "got their dandruff up" over my being barefoot. Not a comment or a peep from anyone. "Bare your feet, and your mind will follow." True, that. "Fool the eye, and the brain will follow." Apparently, also true.
