I'd really like to know what "Value" is "added" to your purchase thru this "tax"... Do you know that in certain states in the US there is NO SALES TAX at all? Even on cars!
Yeah. Florida, Texas, and Nevada don't from what I've heard. Mainly the result of income generated by tourism, oil, and gambling. .

Oregon is one as well. I know several people who will spend half a years supplys there since its a 800 mile drive for them. I've know two people who have used a friends address to buy there new vehicle, since it must be registered. I've been driving with a different state plates for a year now, a girl friend of mine lives in WA and has CA plates for years.
