I am in the middle of a DMT extraction. I have never done DMT before. What would a good starter dose be? Plus, I am 170 pounds. What kinds of things would happen if I took: 20 mg? 30 mg? 40 mg? 50 mg? I want my first DMT trip to give me a nice feeling of what it is, yet I don't want to go overboard with an overly intense experience. Thanks.
Attending to the content of your post and what you seek (which I feel is wise), I would recommend something like: 1.) prepare 2-3 doses. First one 20 mgs. Second one 25 mgs. Third one 30 mgs. 2.) Vaporize first dose. 3.) AFTER at LEAST 30 minutes, consider trying the second dose. You will most likely not be fully down. I call this technique "stacking doses." 4.) If you took the second dose and want to see even more, are still feeling comfortable and welcomed, then after your eyes open from the second dose and you are able to see well enough and control your hands well enough, load and take that third dose. Feel FREE to stop at any point at this process. Follow the call - you will know it. If you follow this procedure, there is a good chance that if you can vaporize (or even smoke) your dose in a minute or less (each time) that the first time will give you a sense of the territory, what it might be about. You will most likely feel the distinctive DMT body load and some other things too. You will probably get some strong and beautiful visuals. The second dose will amp it up a bit and you might even think you've broken through. The third dose has a very high probability of yielding a full on, profound, classic, breakthrough experience. No telling what that might entail . . . . :sunny: Good voyaging . . . .
You're dreams ARE Dmt.... I heard that your brain makes it and thats the stuff that makes you dream.. But thats what I heard from a stoned hippie at a concert once so I don't know if thats true...
It has all the 'ingredients' to synthesize dmt, whether it does is another issue. I had a crappy Xanax dream the other night. I did have one dmt dream though awhile ago before i did it but it was completely different than the real thing. Thats pretty interesting you had one right before youre about to do it.
i personally think that the whole DMT dream theory is a complete crock of shit - they are absolutely nothing alike whatsoever. near death experiences may very well be a DMT release (who knows), but saying your dreams are caused by it is wayy too much of a stretch. people might ask well why then do DMT trips seem so familiar if they're not your dreams? - I am certain that ego death takes you to the place you were before you were born.
I agree. No person who's ever said this that I've spoken to can back it up with a scientific paper - as far as I know this is just a theory, but it is passed on as truth and people go around saying things like "If DMT is illegal, how can humans be legal, we posses DMT in our brains etc etc." Also, I've only had one dream about DMT, in which I became DMT. Beat that
I don't necessarily accept the theory as fact but saying your dreams is not like a dmt trip is not a good reason to suppose we don't secrete endogenous dmt or at least certainly not proof. Try eating dmt at the same dose as you smoke it and tell me if you get the same effects.
its real believe it or not. I didnt believe it until i downloaded the documentary: DMT the spirit molecule from a torrent site today and its explained that its in mammals and shit located in the brain.
we're still propagating myths here. theres no evidence to suggest dmt has anything to do with dreams. it is unkown where endogenous dmt is produced in the body and what its physiological role is.
Yah the dmt: spirit molecule video never even said that dmt is released during dreaming either I believe. I think it simply said something to the effect that dmt Is closely related to the basic amino acid tryptophan and a simple synthesis of a few enzymes leads to dmt. Myths seem to be propagating all over here tho, because the chemical neurotransmitter acetylcholine has a huge role in dreaming as well as a few other neurochemicals I'm pretty certain.
i thought endogenous neurotransmitter involvement in dreaming was minimal to none, but upon cursory research i am wrong.
