Yo. I've never really done opiates except for once and it was to appealing for me, I just had a question about them. Why is there such a big variety of these available? Are they all slightly different or something? Sorry for the noob question, I am just knowledgeable about this spectrum of drugs. I don't plan on using them, my mind just happened to wonder to this thought and I figured where better ask such as question at 5AM.
I agree with you on the fact that there are alot of different variaties of these. If you think about it, they range frow weak to extremely strong and all levels in between. Seems like there are several different substances derived from the poppy that help create all these different drugs, such as Opium, codiene, Thebaine, Morphine....etc. Seems like the drug makers are coming out with new stuff quite often. I was just perscribed a new opiate called Nucynta. While its been on the market since 09, you havent heard much about it probably due to its weak level of strength. By itself, its doubtful you would feel anything at all, especially any pain relief, but taken with a stronger opiate, it does seem to potentiate fairly well. I havent taken alot of the available opiates, only Hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone and that new stuff above, so I dont feel comfortable trying to list all thats out there, but its a hefty list for sure....
since youre new to this id suggest not even doing it. Its something youll like too much. I got clean i was addicted for years. But im only kinda clean, i use about once every other week now because i cant control it mentally, the pot, ketamine, and benzos i loved but can do without. If you can control it like i do now youll be ok, but it took me 7 years to be able to do that.
Sorry, I didn't make it clear. I have no intentions of using any of these in the near future, its just this huge variety of drug I know nearly nothing about because the one I tried 3, 750 vicodine, I want to say I felt literally nothing, but I think it could be taken out of context. I've had fun with other varieties of drugs, Ketamin, DXM, the 2c, lsd, psyilicin, muscamol, amphetamines, salvinorin. The list goes on and on. I've never desired to try an opiate since the one time I tried them, they didnt make me sick or anything, just havent felt any want. Coke, opiates and meth are things when I think of, I just get bad vibes. I've managed to limit myself to using pharmaceutical amphetamines in those rare occasions when I have severe writers block. I think many people might take what zeph was saying not as an insult or anything, but since its not what they wanted to hear on a forum about opiates, they view it as sort of negative instead of take the advise of person whos been there and done that. For me, just hearing about it is enough to keep me away. Thanks.
