This is mostly regarding adderall. I've read elsewhere that "heavy" doses or long term us can lead to a temporary(days, weeks) amphetamine psychosis. The term "heavy" was used very loosely in whichever article I read. Say I have only one other experience prior to this use, would 40mg be considered a "heavy" dose. I'm not to worried about this possible psychosis because I haven't experience it to the extreme, and its not something I take to often. Just some minor alterations in my visual field towards the comedown, mostly when I am able to fall asleep. Does anyone know, not exactly why this is? Not that anybody has an exact answer, but a reasonable theory perhaps? I know these visual disturbances are probably a combination of the comedown and sleep deprivation, and that after some solid sleep they will be gone. Still a little tweaked, throw some informations at me!

I guess I don't know exactly what I'm looking for in a response, but understanding the chemicals we choose to put into out bodies to a greater extent is always worth while.

I've had amphetamine use slide into psychosis twice. Both times quickly anD easily remedied by 10mg Zyprexa. I don't take doses like that ( around 100mg) anymore. It is just plain bad for you.
