how to get high?

True enough -- I'll bet Katie is just trying to fit in, and has happened to pick the crowd that does drugs and is "cool" in her school, and she wants to not look like a newbie when it comes time to join them under the bleachers behind the track for a joint or two.

Hopefully, before she gets too sucked into it all, she'll grow up a bit and realize that fitting in by doing drugs is pretty fuggin' stupid. Maybe she'll learn to be her own person, and screw what everyone else thinks is "cool." Watch where those "cool" kids are in a few years after high school. They think they know soooo much when they're 14. With no decently intelligent adults to keep them in line during that early period in their lives when they are likely to make stupid choices and mistakes, this is what happens. They are 100% ego, thinking they have it all figured out, and no one's wise experience means shit to them.

Katie will either get fucked up or she'll get lucky and avoid it. Time will tell. But if she winds up a hard-drinking, pot-smoking pregnant teen, we'll know why it happened. Maybe she'll be smart enough to just accept the fact that 14 is an age where she should be soaking up all the knowledge from school that she can in order to have a good life for the bulk of her time on earth.

Pissing away your school years smoking cheap weed with a bunch of popular dumbasses is not the way to go.

You'd want her priorities, as a 14-year-old, to shift to hanging out and getting high, when she should be kept busy learning all she can in SCHOOL?

What is there about pot that is so important that she should let it draw her attention away from her school years? Will she not be 18, or 21, soon enough, that she can't wait til then to go and experiment? Kids have enough to deal with, and a full plate before them, that they don't need to get distracted by drugs, at least not while they are still school-age.

Hey, there are plenty of people on here who get on me for my spelling and grammer....not just jeffrey...

 

I'm not throwing my hands up in the air about it, but it's stupid to think that if you tell kids to NOT do drugs that they'll listen. Most of the people I've ever known have at the very least tried smoking pot once in their lifetime. IF they are educated about it and decide to not try anything, that's wonderful. But you can't pretend that every kid is gonna be like that, especially if they're here ASKING about it.

even if I´m a regular smoker and grower I´m 38 years, I wouldnt advice you to smoke till later in life, when you have matured and have your concepts/beliefes together, I only smoke in the evening when coming back from work, so it doesnt affect my profesional performance, but at 14 you may not have the discipline of knowing when its the right time to hit a bowl, if you smoke during the day you have a big chance of becoming lazy, and confused, also, at so young an age you´re gonna be dealing with these shady dealers, I got tired of them so now I have my hydro cabinet.
