Saw him the other day in Southampton. He walked real fast but I managed to catch up with him and get a snap. Must be 10 - 15 years of growth there.
I feel like I'm the only dreadie who gets a little grossed out by beaver tails. I find lint and pet hair and all sorts of stuff trying to get into my dreads all the time, I can't even imagine what's inside a beaver tail. Ick! I wonder how long it takes his hair to fully dry?
I've been playing with a USB microscope, looking at my dreads on a microscopic scale. Despite having just washed, I keep finding flakes, I guess it's a fact of life! This guy's beaver tale must be a pain in the arse to keep cleanish
wow he must have some balls, imagine the looks people must give him on a daily... i know we all put up with a lil now and then from people but this guys pretty hardcore
So true, I mean I wouldn't give an off look because you know each to his own ffs, but I love dreads and dislike the look of beavertails, can only imagine how people that hate matted hair generally would react upon seeing that kinda shiiit...
Just wait till you cut. Not hurrying you or anything though. If you never cut, you'll never have to be traumatized by what's really in your hair:2thumbsup: I find solace in the fact that while my locks where full of soap, flakes, dust, lint, SAND, twigs and about anything else you can imagine... all that shit was clean as fuck That guy has awesome hair... what disgusts ME is that thumbnail I see... If I am, indeed, seeing it correctly... I dunno, maybe he's a guitarist or something, it's on his right hand... that would make it ok.
I've already been through cutting after 2 years of dreads actually. The cores of the fatties were a bit linty, lol
I cut open one of my dreads a while ago and it was full of dead skin, bit of lint, did kinda freak me out but not enough to make me cut/brush xD
Acoustic guitarists grow their right hand nails to pluck with and trim their left to fret with. Bassists don't use their nails to pluck the strings, so meh..
