This **** said something like, -i would much rather be out here(refering to alaska) then in some boring office- thats not verbatim but the basic point. I saw this on one of the commercials for her show. So, i hope she doesn't plan on running in 2012, how could you say that and then seriously expect any to vote for you. The worst part about it is most people are so ignorant they could careless.

The mayan calendar doesn't mean the world will end in 2012, but if she gets ellected there's a good chance.

It makes me absolutely sick.

Exactly-that's the same stupid shit that Reagan used to say. He said "government doesn't have the solutions to your problems-government is the problem!" He was always hawking this idiotic "small government" philosophy-and all government did on his watch was get much, much bigger and much more fascist in character.

Ha-ha this is so true. They're obsessed with her. It's ridiculous and humorous at the same time.

She isn't as bad that the left wing media makes her out to be.

What I like about her, is she don't give a fuck what left wingers think of her. She keeps rolling, doing her thing.

 

If by that you mean being totally ridiculous and proving beyond a doubt shes not qualified to hold any kind of leadership position, yes she continues to do her thing. One good example of her lack of class is how she jumps at any opportunity to attack Michelle Obama for no good reason. Recently she has criticized Michelle for advocating a fight against obesity in this country. This is a problem which must be addressed but obviously to Palin its not something we need to worry about. The government should leave our love handles alone!

It may appear she doesn't care about the "left wing media" but I think its more accurate to say shes afraid of any interviews that aren't on fake news.

 

^^ personally i don't think its the governments job to regulate what our children are allowed to eat at school. I think that used to be called ... parenting? I mean it just seems like more government spending to allow americans to become lazier and less involved in their kids lives and more dependent on a government to show them how to live.

I do think childhood obesity is a problem, but it is up to parents to control their kids diet, not the government.

And i hate sarah palin as previously stated and michelles ideas are good hearted i believe.

On second thought i don't think it would hurt to have public school cafeterias forced to serve healthier/better quality foods.

 

I'm not in favor of draconian measures but theres a difference between actually regulating what we eat and promoting healthier behavior and choices. I believe parents should have the final decision in what food they buy, but its alarming how many parents in this country are raising their kids to be just as overweight as themselves. If palin is so concerned with government trying to control people then she should call for the end of the drug war, until she does that her preaching about smaller government is simply empty talking points attempting to sound like Reagan another grand hypocrite.

Don't these kids have gym class anymore? I remember back when i was in 7th grade if we couldn't run a mile in 8 minutes in the snow up hills both ways, well we repeated the 7th grade. No seriously though, schools don't promote physical activity?
