Damn... I bounced a check this morning, but I know it will only amount to the cost of the check plus $15 for bouncing it.
I've gonna through the same shit. lucky enough they reversed the charges facking assholes. I remeber how they had my talk to the manager only to give me a bullshit answer.
damn. i once owed the bank close to 100 dollars because of overdraft charges. it's not just the banks who screw you over. my brother recently had to pay some taxes. he paid them on time. but because he didn't file for the 3rd quarter that he owed nothing on, he received a paper in the mail stating he overpaid 3 cents in taxes and underpaid 3 cents for another. he broke even, but he still got charged with a bunch of shit and had to pay a fine of 50 dollars. AND HE DIDN'T OWE THEM A DIME. needless to say, he's a pushy bastard and always gets what he wants, so he called them up and got it cleared. remember: you can always get what you want with the perfect mix of charm and douchebaggery.
this is kind of weird. i tried to get gas a few months ago. i had a little bit more in my account than what it costs to fill up. it wouldn't even let me start to pump, i had to go to the cashier and prepay a fixed amount beforehand instead of just pumping. also i overdrew once after opting out because like monkeyboy said, a company took $ out of my account, and it turned out the bank only charged me a $5. fee instead of $28.
