Where and what time period would you go too? Would you try to change something, or just be an observer? Would you stay in that time period if you were able too?
I’d go back to the cretaceous period and catch a theropod dinosaur possibly a velociraptor. Then have him eat Bill O’Reilly in front of millions of viewers on what would become his all-time highest rated show - The Raptor Factor Hotwater
am i the only one that would want to go to the future? the past sucks and is so primitive. i think people see the surface events that only interests them when researching the past. wishing to live in the 60's like the poster above me is a lil ridiculous imo. the interval from now and when i'd travel to would have to be at least 1500 years.
I think I would go back in time to the Cretaceous period most definitely, I would love to see the way the world looked before the dinosaurs croaked. I'm a geographer, so I would probably orgasm the entire time.
since i'm only able to go back in time, not space, i suppose the "where" would be right here. as for when, it would be the day of the last huge lottery drawing that didn't have a winner. of course, i would have the winning numbers, and since there was no original winner i would get all the money to myself. it couldn't have been that long ago. i suppose i could stick around. i'd love to go to the future, but that wasn't an option in this thread.
I would go back and eat some acid with Jesus. Figure out what he was really up to. Then I'd go back and nail some neanderthal chicks just for shits and giggles. I'd be back in about a month, with a cooler full of dinosaur meat,
if i were to go back int time it would be as an observer at the the woodstock 1969 event and to see jimi hendrix play live, playin the star spangled benner the that only jimi himself would have done in august of that year mat, now that would be an incredible experience for me mates.
start life over in the 70's somewhere remote like argentina, or chile in south america. right now id just be an observer i would want to for a little bit but, really, no i wouldn't
Sure go ahead in time 1500 years but only as an observer; if you were to interact you would seem like a caveman to 35th century man Hotwater
I would get in the van with my buddies and ride on up to Yasgurs farm this time, I wouldn't let myself miss it again....;-)
I would like to go back to the bible days and watch the pyramids being built, just as an observer and then move up threw time to different momentous events still just as an observer, until I got to about 1900 were I would stay because I've always liked that time period, I would also try to change history for the better in this time period by finding Hitler and Stolin when they were young and making sure they didn't grow up. It seems like alot of people want to see the dinosaur era or the 60's. I'll have to pass on the dinosaur era, there's to many things that would want to eat me, I wouldn't mind a visit to the 60's for a while.
yeah true but i think i might like the extreme life-makeover haha. i guess in terms of comparing traveling to the past to the future is that in one you'd be powerful in a crappy setting, or powerless in a magnificent setting. dont know which one is better. and ya oops i guess going BACK in time means to the past haha. idk what time in the past i'd go to. maybe sometime in the 1800's. listen to abraham lincolns gettysburg address or something
I'd like to be BEHIND the grassy knoll and the fence when JFK was shot just to see who those bastards were.
i want to see it all, from the big bang to the cold, bitter end peeping tom i don't really want to stay now, why would i want to stay then?
The past as well as the future are artifacts of the present. Such would be a journey without distance.
