saunas

Fairly close to my house there is a socalled Welness Center. Multiple types of saunas in one area with hottubs, different kinds of baths/spa's. You pay a certain amount of money to get in and for a whole day you can use all the sauna's and spa's. All mixed and all nude. It's very nice and relaxing. Good food too.
They have special days where there is women only or swimsuit only. I always go on the nude/mixed days together with my wife to relax and enjoy a nice meal.

 

about question nude in the sauna or not.In Germany where I live we are going with my wife to sauna .There are not limit of age , always mixed men and women and children.So is ofcourse not in every sauna.Sometimes people cant not who under 16 and sometimes two days at week is for women , two another days for men and the rest mixed.

When I was in my early 20s, I traveled to Europe. I went to a coed nude spa in the Netherlands and when I went in, I was the only one in there. After I was there a few minutes a guy and girl came in. I remember developing an erection after a few minutes and they both noticed it, but neither of them seemed to have an issue with it.

 

The sauna I visit is at my gym and single sex also. I stay nude in them but I get looks sometimes from females who may be in just a towel or a suit. A good number though stay nude. I prefer working out at night when I don't have to deal with too many other people or get judgmental looks from guys while working out or females in the locker room for not being shy about nudity.

 

Do you think the looks you're getting are because they're admiring your beauty, they're envious that you are bold enough to go nude or because they're offended?

Do you do your workout at the gym in the nude?

 

in our sauna the rule is: nude or you are not coming in.
and yes, we have our own in the yard.

 

Personally, I think it's just because they are either offended or shocked that someone can be so open with their nudity. I think most women unfortunately have very negative perceptions about nudity, especially around other people.

I don't work out nude (well, I do at home) but at the gym I would cause quite a stir. I have only done that at this nude resort I attended.

 

Most of the times I stay nude, but in also depends on where I am. There are saunas where people do not mind nudity at all (although they look at me sometimes with some surprise:devil, but the are also those from where I could be kicked out
And by the way... a towel helps when you are sweating too much.

 

For most saunas in the UK it is a capital offence to go naked, but i have done it on a few occasions, generally i think most people accept it but on occasion i have had people walk out or complain to management.

 

doesnt it all depend on where the sauna is, what the sauna is meant to be used for, and who is actually going to be using the sauna at a given point of time ???

i have been to sports centres where they have sauna's and you most definately dont go in them "naked" and being wrapped in a towel or wearing a bathing suit is a requirement, and they are most often not mixed sauna's, there is usually a "him" and a "hers" sauna in places like this.

as for sauna's in other places, well in your home you can do what you like, in our local health spa, we can go naked as a solo or as a couple, but we are the only ones allowed to use one of the sauna's during our session, no other spa user can come in there with us, and they are only small ones anyway.

 

I haven't been in a sauna since my days as a member of a local raquetball club here. In that place, there were separate saunas for the men and the women. I don't know what the women did in theirs, but the men were always naked in theirs. Of course, after reading this thread, I am sad that I can't go use the darned thing again. Love the sauna.

 

i wouldnt want to sit in a mens sauna naked anyway would be bad enough being naked in a womans sauna

 

Last time I was near a pay sauna at a hot springs resort, I was in there enjoying life, naked as a jay bird, and in come a couple women. In bikinis, of course. Well, they sure did get amused. Back then I shaved "down yonder" and they could see how much I appreciated their presence.... :smilielol5:

 

I've only experienced saunas at the gym and at nudist resorts. At the gym, nudity is a no-go. You can only wear a towel. However, i normally go at night when others aren't around and drop my towel.

 

I know in Scandinavian countries in Europe,they have a lot of coed saunas, does anyone know of any coed saunas in the USA?

 

When saunas were first introduced in NZ you went naked exceot for a towell to sit on, this was the case at the the gym I attended some time ago. Today saunas are provided by City Councils at swimming pools and togs are meant to be worn. I do know of one case were someone went in naked but with wearing a towell.

 

I am a shower and with a very large penis I go regularly to mixed saunas.Everyone are always naked and I must admit I love seeing others, male and female staring at my penis.
