Funny, but unlike you, I couldn't wait to get mine off! Ya see uniforms don't rate the same saccharine respect, the same maudlin admiration - adoration even - as they do up there in the Das Neue Reich.

Australians tend to regard people who post photos of themselves - on decidedly civilian cyber sites - in military uniform as pretty superficial people shamelessly seeking undeserved respect.

 

That isn't me in my avatar that's Bradley Manning... he's currently being held captive by the US government...
