relating hary's paradox to the techniques of modern sheep farming

I have a conundrum. Okay so I'm writing a collection of short science fiction stories to send off to friends and family for the yuletide gift giving’s and I’ve come to a slight spanner in the works. I need to find a way to relate Hardy’s paradox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardy's_paradox) to techniques used in modern sheep farming.
My imagination has died on me, I’ve been writing non-stop for about 3 days now (no sleep and lots of speed) as I need to get these stories sent out by the end of the week.
So really I’m asking for a little creative input from you, the most intelligent and interesting forums on the net. Even a nudge toward the light would be very much appreciated.
