its not cool for anybody to use the n word. black people may use nigga as slang, but you never hear them use it with the -er on the end. that has an entirely different connotation.

 

^of course they pronounce the -er at the end it just sounds like they are saying it with an A because of their natural black american accent. every word that has an ER on the end sounds like an A when black people say it. for the most part they all can make the -ER sound the way we do but it is not natural to them.

and saying 'the n word' is no better than saying ****** it implies the exact same thing

I've had black people say nigga in front of me a million times. I call my white friends my niggas. I've accidently slipped up and called my black friends my niggas once or twice; they didn't seem to be offended at all.

but one time, i had a black person say ****** in front of me and it was really offensive. It was offensive to his race and it was offensive to me because he was using it in a way to imply that i thought he was a ******. not my nigga, not my homie, but a ******.

there is a huuuuge difference. trust me. It has nothing to do with the "black american accent." That statement is racist in and of itself, considering black people live all over the US and adopt the regional accent of wherever they live.

That's the most racist thing in this whole fucking thread if you ask me. If it's not okay for one race to use that word, it's not okay for ANYONE to use it. PERIOD. Race wouldn't be a big deal if people didn't make it such a fucking big deal. CC, while your choice of vocabulary was...colorful, it may have been a little over the top, and unfortunately some people are not big enough to ignore certain words they deem "offensive."
