the crystal skulls?

seen the Indiana Jones last night for the first time.. it was like I imagined it to be..

I always get annoyed by these sort of things they find some weird symbol and assume it has some huge meaning. What if some guy just decided to make these skulls for the hell of it.

What if I decided to make 10 circles out of stone for no apparent reason at all and each of these stones I put my own special symbol and buried them in random spots and some how there dug up 1000's of year in the future everyone will think there some magical rocks.

 

And some have know taste...

you got a personal symbol ? i do . in art college we got a casual assignment to make one . so i drew one in about ten secs . someday i hope to get it tatoo-ed . basically it is three snakes traversing a crescent . actually though , it took quite awhile before i could translate that glyph into english .

I had been trying to get this thing from my parents for about5 years. It had been in their attic forever. My Dad kept saying "no I got that at an estate sale". Apparently it had been up there long enough that my moms didn't remember it. So she said "if I don't know what it is you can have it". It is not as nice as the ones you see on TV because it is quarts and not clear. But it is very large about 40lbs. Shaped like an alien head. Will post pic when I get home.

Attached are some pictures. I guess it's not really a skull but still pretty neat. Have no idea how old it is or wear it came from other than "from an estate sale. It needs cleaned up.

Sorry, I got confused because I fail to see the point of the sentence. I realise that the fact I am alive is to be celebrated. I fail to see how this links to miraculous skulls and the like.
