He deserves it more than Obama ever did, but that goes for the homeless guy under the bridge too.
Don't get me wrong, I approve of what he's doing, but I don't think his intentions were of peace, and I don't think they will ever bring about any peace.

No. What has he done to make peace i mean seriously. If anything he just caused a whole shitload of problems. I realize it could be for a good cause but being affiliated with a group that shut down visa and mastercard for a short time is not something heroic.

I agree that he has done little to promote peace, and thus I would question his receiving this award, but to be fair, no one is really affiliated with Anonymous. They see a cause, they pick it up, and no one can really stop them. You don't just call them up and ask for a favor. They definitely operate on their own. I don't think they would stop even if he asked them to...

I think its a huge step toward peace, exposing how our governments lie to us is the first step for the people of one country accepting and loving people from another country. A lot of wars were started over lies. Once the governments learn that their ill conduct will be exposed...they'll stop lying their countries into war. No Vietnam, No Iraq....sounds a lot more peaceful to me... notice how it's never really the people of a country but those that run it that are the problems. A lot of good people are being mislead and misrepresented. Maybe there are no evil people just evil governments.

Hiding the lies only stirs more hate...exposing them...in the end....are steps toward peace!

If they weren't so corrupt they wouldn't have a problem with what he did... by the people, for the people! what ever happened to that? it seems to be forgotten.

Up to now I didnt see anything that shows that Assange and wikileaks are authentic. All I saw so far showed me a secret service and mass media operation, nothing more.
