Though it may not seem like much, I'm taking my highest dose of a psychedelic tomorrow. Two hits of some good WoW unperfed that's been going around. I've done this same exact LSD before twice in the past month or so, so I think I have an idea of what the potency will be. I've also done shrooms three times prior to this, with my highest dose being two grams. What should I expect to be different about this trip in all aspects compared to my previous LSD and psilocybin trips?
Welcome and congrats on taking a step forward in your psychedelic journeys. It's hard to give an answer any more specific than "expect and be prepared for anything" and make a comparison without knowing what your previous trips were like. Can you tell us a little about them?
Yes I can. The first trip I was strictly under the influence of LSD alone, no MDMA or weed. I tripped with some new friends that I had made this semester and we all went to the city to see a show. Overall great trip, really bonded with the people, light visuals, lots of good colors but nothing mindblowing. Second trip was just me and another friend of mine locked in his room in the dark with movies and music and video games and LOTS of weed. This trip had considerably more visuals, lots of facing melting, objects breathing with me etc.
sounds like one hit was kinda variable in intensity, at least as far as visuals. so two hits of the same stuff could be just a little more intense than one, or it might be WAY more intense. but in an awesome way. it shouldn't be anything too crazy that you can't handle, when going from one hit to two, even if they are very potent.
Sounds like the difference between set and setting perhaps too. I almost always trip harder on comparable doses when I stay at home with one or two people becaue there are less distractions. I suggest taking 3 or 4 hits if you can... like pork said, it will be more intense but in an awesome way and shouldn't be anything you can't handle. The one good thing to remember with acid is that its virtually impossible to OD on so you can eliminate that anxiety right off the bat. I took 3 hits my first time and was higher than I'd ever been from anything in my life (except maybe a salvia breakthrough but that's a different kind of high altogether) but it wasn't unmanageable or anxiety inducing. Of course everyone handles it differently but LSD is just so worth dosing big and jumping head first into those uncharted waters...
Happy trails to ya! I actually tripped on 2 pretty strong WoW doses two weeks ago. I had a great time..walked on abandon rail road tracks, played some guitar, drew a lot pictures, and chilled in a dark room for awhile. It was awesome and very enjoyable..tho in the end, I felt like i could have traveled deeper. To this day..my trip on an eighth of mushrooms remains to be my most profound, mind shattering experience. Though, I still feel like it's only the tip of the ice-berg haha. So next time, I would take 4 hits at the least. Though you are going about it the right way..gradually increasing your dose. But needless to say, I don't think you could do much wrong in dosing a little higher
lsd is MUCH more of a euphoric, WONDROUS miracle of 8-12 hours, than a coin toss between pretty colors and terrible hellish "bad trip" than people make it out to be lol. it is nothing short of one of the truest moments of beauty, of true "holiness" of a natural kind, not born on the ponderings of human thought but rather a real nurturing, enlightening presence/energy in the universe with discernable, in fact overwhelming, effects, of tremendous beauty. i would take 3 hits. but if two is all you got, enjoy the ride a bit higher 15 hits was nuuuuuuuuts, hands down most aesthetically pleasing and beautific trip of my lifetime. so gentle, even in its deluge
Taking more hits leads me to assume you'll experience a higher degree of intensity in the effects, this will be true if the hits are legit I'd expect the CEV patterns to be quite the eye candy, higher doses definitely seems to deliver the classic idea of "kaleidoscope vision" overall, OEV and CEV. The euphoria during the peak is incredible. Given it is an high dose though, try and have a lax setting and I think you'll be fine. Break through experiences tend to be more pleasant in an earth shattering way
