I just found something attached to my weed that I've never seen before. What is it?

What the hell is this thing? It kind of looks like a spider egg sac; like silk fibers. . . or that fuzzy shit in the middle of an artichoke. . . those kind of fibers. It's like a very small cast net or something. It holds together very well (like thread) when you gently pull it apart from opposite sides. . . and when you pull it apart, you can see clusters of these things that look like tiny crystals (they glean and glitter when the light hits them). Have any of you seen anything like this before, attached to your weed? Is this a flower or something? Between me and my husband, we have smoked a gigantic mountain of weed in our lives, and both of us cannot figure out what it is, because we have never seen this before.

Also. . . can we smoke this shit?

I ate one of the little crystals that fell out of it. Wriston just looked at me and laughed, and said, "Man, you're gonna start trippin' or something," lol. And you know what? I sure do hope that I do, ha ha ha ha ha.

But on a more serious note, could this be some kind of fungi?

 

I've seen spider egg sacks in weed before...your pic is a bit too blurry to make out really

 

Perhaps a picture of it next to your breasts, to remove glare and for size comparison, will help us identify it.

Sounds like mould. I wouldn't recommend smoking it, I had some similar shit damp weed lastyear and it gave me a chest infection.

I've gotten middies before that had some kind of "egg sack" inside, probably happens during the cheap/fast curing process by growers who are after profit over quality. I remember breaking apart a nug and ing like "wtf mold?!" and I threw it into the grass. I would never smoke something growing or that came in my weed.....let alone eat it.

I found a small insect once too.

its a spider looking for a nice house, ...... you see foreclosure all over the news and spiders like to live among human beings. But since the people are losing their homes, Possibly growing cannabis to make ends meat. These spiders move along with the people.. This looks like a nice place to live says spider: BlueBerry Kush in an outdoor garden.. If I was a spider Id find me a house in a cannabis plant too..
